Any info on digital/virtual appointments for Universal Credit?

Hello everyone!

Different work coaches at my JCP have been going on about these digital (or virtual) appointments that will eventually happen to people.
So far I been told you need to have claimed UC for 26 weeks to get these appointments. They apparently replace regular appointments and will be done using phone or journal.

I have yet to find any guidelines about these kind of appointments. Like how exactly they are conducted. Do you communicate through messages or like a chat?
What would happen if the claimants internet is cut? Or even the internet connection the UC service centre are using? Even at my home there's times with bad phone service.
And how would present job search through these online appointments?

Seems like these virtual appointments will just give work coaches an easier way to dish out sanctions, now without even having to face the claimant.
