Job Centre and Heatwave

I was wondering if anyone has been given an 'excused'appointment at the Job Centre 
? As the Met office has issue a Red Warning 
for heat 
️. And I keep hearing on the main stream media, not to travel when possible.

I had to ring the 0800 number yesterday afternoon to find out if our job centre was shut today. I was told ALL jobs centres are shut (Monday and Tuesday). A few minutes later our work coach rang to say the same thing and that she would be ringing us today for a telephone appointment.

I got a text on Saturday 16th July to say dwp will conduct interviews by phone on 18th and 19th July rather than face to face. Not good they didn't contact you on Saturday.
