CV Broking Service at the JCP
I was wondering if any one has heard of this "CV Broking Service" by the JCP ?
You could image claimant's CV being added to this database without their permission? And their CV being farmed out to anyone🤪, without vetting to see if it is a real company/ employment . Also maybe ive missed it. But there seems to be no mention of the claimant being able to withdraw from the "CV Broking Service"

Broking Service
1. If the claimant agrees to join the Curriculum Vitae (CV) Job Broking
Service their consent is recorded on an ES589JP and retained in the Labour Market Unit (LMU).
2. The claimant should be asked to submit an electronic copy of their CV in word (.doc) or PDF format to Jobcentre Plus (JCP) by email as soon
as possible, to the email address created for this purpose .
3. The claimant should be advised that for security reasons, their CV So alteredshouldn’t include their Date of Birth (DOB), their National Insurance
Number (NINo), or their bank details.
4. If a claimant doesn’t have internet access, they should be advised on access through the jobcentre or routes through libraries or internet cafes
and appropriate referrals made to local provision if a claimant needs help creating an email account.
5. It should be explained that if the claimant’s NINo or bank details are included in the CV, Jobcentre Plus (JCP) will be unable to keep a copy
or submit it to any vacancies. If a claimant includes their DOB in their CV, despite having been advised not to do so, JCP will retain and use that CV in the normal way. "
(Note: 5) "if the claimant's NINO or bank details are included in the CV, jobcentre plus (JCP) will be unable to keep a copy"🤭

Re: CV Broking Service at the JCP
I don't think the service is in force now.
