Most likely they will cling to the ships- wreckage/time they have. Until December 2024 election's. Have to see the Rats deserting the sinking ship? 🧐

There will be a lot more deserters after today's conservative results.

Areas that will pilot the new Fit Note system under "Work Well" have been announced. Thankfully, I do not reside in one of these areas.

To quote the link #Ignatius:
"The trailblazers will trial better ways of triaging, signposting, and supporting people looking to receive a fit note and will be used to test a transformed process to help prevent people with long term health conditions falling out of work, including referral to support through their local WorkWell service.’"
🟥 More "Word Salad", the 'Work Well Service'.. Does anyone recon these 'proffesionals' will get an impressive uniforms and a mobile health care bus with WWS in florescent colours painted on the side .
🟣 A second point if I may. Which term get more usage these days: 'Tailored 🧵Support" or "Trail Blazers "...
"The call for evidence on fit note reform, published last month, said that ‘trailblazers’ will recruit both clinical and non-clinical professionals who will have additional [i]training."[/

WorkWell. For people genuinely (or otherwise) incapable of work due to reasons of ill heath or disability, the Work Well algorithm looks like a closed loop of perpetual (re)referral back to the GP for further treatment or assessment. In other words just like now but with even more letters and reports.
https://www.gov.uk/government/news/new-64-million-plan-to-help-people-stay-in-work.
"WorkWell is for anyone with a health condition or disability, including mental health conditions, who wants to work. It is a voluntary service, so people will be able to self-refer, or may be referred to WorkWell through their GP, employer or the community sector. "
If a doctor has said you are unfit for work then it is improbable that a request from a non-doctor let alone an algorithm will change their minds. It would erk them and make them look bad.

Also have to wonder if like the Disability Assessors, doing the PIP's. That these WW service personnel, will they be given limit's to the amount of claims/Sick notes they can dispense . Like a Ration Book , so they can only give so many Sick Notes out a day...
