Standard of behaviour for social media.
I saw this FOI about
DWP standards of Behaviour for Social Media. So I was wondering how this relates to this forum? As it would be ' Absolute Insanity to think that there are no 'Dole Moles' lurcking on this forum.
Therefore, how does this 'standards of behaviour' relate to them? When they haven't declared themselves to be in employment of the DWP ?
https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/dwp_standards_of_behaviour_for_s#incoming-1748407
34: "Civil servants are expected and required to behave with the utermost integrity at all times, and to be ambassadors of the department".
Integrity: Adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character, honesty.
https://www.dictionary.com/browse/integrity
40: "DWP has a zero tolerance of harassment, discrimination and bulling, and will investigate every allegation of employees missusing social media in this way..."
(Yet it seem this type of behaviour is acceptable in the JCP offices! ).…

Re: Standard of behaviour for social media.
I don't believe there are DWP-moles browsing forums or social that are out to get random job seekers. Why bother with us? There are plenty of easier targets for sanctions and it's not like they can use any of our posts as evidence for sanctions. There are now millions on Universal Credit, finding which claimant Jara or Pintel is will be difficult anyway.
There are a few DWP employees helping people out on Reddit (DWPHelp) though and they been quite helpful. However they are fairly anonymous but also fairly professional too. Maybe having known DWP employees on these forums won't be that bad as they could share helpful tips on how to deal with some of the more difficult work coaches.
However I am certain there are fraud investigators from DWP doing research on social media. But that's on Facebook and Twitter where they have real names and an already established suspicion that someone is doing something wrong. We don't try to commit fraud on these forums, so they have no reason to spy on us here. This is where I can see them stepping over the line in regards to these rules.

Re: Standard of behaviour for social media.
I have just applied for a (eo) work coach job. What a chew on. One hour fifteen min civil service live online workshop followed by 500 word essay to prove your worth and a good 3 hours to do the application then you have to video record 3 questions and send them in.
Pissed myself laughing when i found out what the (eo) stands for.
Executive officer ! they might as well go the whole hog and make it CEO! Talk about delusions of grandeur.

One thing I have been wondering #Oneman, on the application. Was there a question of ' have you ever claimed benefits?'🤨 Not sure if a knowledge of the benefits system, would be a hindrance or help in this position?
Also does anyone know the DWP command structure? Is it: Work Roach , EO-work roach Chief work Roach , etc.

Grade structures of the civil service:
Broadly, there are five civil service job grades:
Administrative Officer/Administrative Assistant (AO/AA) – the most junior civil service grade. These roles tend to comprise administrative support and operational delivery roles, such as prison officers and caterers.
Executive Officer (EO). Civil servants in this grade offer business and policy support and include roles such as executive assistants, finance, HR, IT and communications specialists.
Senior Executive Officer/Higher Executive Officer (SEO/HEO) includes policy officers and officials with specific policy responsibilities.
Grades 6 and 7 civil servants tend to be experienced officials with significant policy responsibilities.
Senior Civil Service (SCS) is the most senior grade of the civil service made up of the senior management team. Generally, directors are ultimately responsible for the policy work of their team and director generals oversee directors and work closely with the department’s ministers. Each department also has a permanent secretary as part of the SCS who supports the minister at the head of the department, acts as the accounting officer and is responsible for the day-to-day running of the department.

I have a red flag next to my name at the job center Pintel so they know me already.
There was no Question about being on benefits but I did mention in the essay that I have had seven sanctions all overturned in the court of appeal so I know the process and have extensive knowledge of how they work. That should but me at the top of their list.

Oneman,
Would you accept the 'work coach' (E.O) job if offered?

Re: Standard of behaviour for social media.
#Oneman, did you ask for any "feedback" from the DWP ? As my work Roach , expects me to ask the hr dept everytime. Its not like hr has anything better to do with their time. Honest feedback, would be great as well. Such as 'your face didn't fit in with the company', 'I didn't like the way you answered question number 3. I thought you was making it up'...
Also did they use the Empathy version of the 'Voight-kampff test'. To see if you're 'heartless' enough to work for the JCP...

All on hold until I can rinse the flexible support find for technology to get a phone that records video or a video camera for the computer. How are they going to refuse me that one. LMAO

So that may suggest that they don’t know who was a claimant at the time of application, as claimants are sometimes encouraged to present CV information purporting to already be in a job.
It might suggest that DWP does not insist upon a reference from a current employer (some other sectors insist upon it).
Alternatively, it could just suggest that DWP does not collate data about the employment status of applicants / recruits.
