When I incited other claimants to try and complain, I often heard the criticism of "what the point?".
Sure enough, a complaint will not change the essential nature of the recipient and may result in backlash for the complainer but it is a baseless objection.
One complains because is one thing one can do to resist and can be successful. Like one may vote because it is a little act that may result in great changes in one life.
One resists or votes because is right to do so; because it is an expression of one's humanity, of the fact that we exist to live our existence as free as possible.
