I'm looking for some old info regarding the above. I'm sure there is info about this as I'm post work programme (4 years) and pre or after such and such a date/date/date. To be referred. Not sure what this info was or said but I do remember it was available. Can anyone remember please.

I'm on JSA no CC (signed)

Thanks Gadily.
I will have a look through and respond.

I have been moved to the HUB and also have a new young work roach who (bless her) thinks she can cure unemployment with (free) work placement With Triage
"I have enjoyed my time working for Triage Services. I only got 6 sanctions, All authorised by the job centre on the one day. Thanks. but no job at the end unfortuinately."

Yes I know Group sessions are voluntary and we SHOULD have 1-1 sessions but that does not stop them fu**ing up SO I LIKE TO PUT THEM IN THEIR PLACE. I know you understand.

There aren't any new stand alone mandatory work placement schemes.

Can you provide the name of the scheme specified in the mandatory notice please?

a backup of this site has already been made and is also available to view on the net via another web address

it also gives me chance to tinker with settings before using them here

These placements are still hanging around it seems, on the Health & Work Program pig . So we need to keep an eye on these, cheap labour scheme by what ever name they go by.

There is no work placement scheme at the moment but my new work roach is trying to put me back onto other departments that work in worke programme.

I'm just trying to stop her in her tracks. She knows I'm legislation savvy.
As a new one in the department she thinks she can make a difference.
We know better. Very Happy
Perhaps oneday Question

The Youth Obligation includes mandatory forced-labour (workfare).

Draft provider guidance for the Work and Health Programme includes mandatory workfare.

Universal Credit legislation embeds mandatory workfare

Then there has been 500,000 +'voluntary' unpaid work placements organised via Jobcentres (workfare)

Work experience remains voluntary for Universal Credit Claimants:

Note 2: Taking part in work experience in 5.1 under a work-related requirement remains voluntary but where the claimant has agreed to work experience as a workpreparation requirement, they will be expected to comply, otherwise a sanction may apply. For more information see ADM chapters K1, K2, K3 and K5. 1 WR Act 12, s 16(3); 2 UC Regs, reg 114(1)

https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/661702/admj3.pdf

I think young people will be affected the most by mandatory work placements within schemes.

99]Mandatory work placements are within schemes/programmes at present.  No-one will carry out the required supervision etc. without a contract.

CWP was determined by DWP as costly and ineffective.

However, I feel that the powers that be will not miss a change to have some "cheap-labour" to drive the economy and reduce the labour market further . So only time will tell on the new Health & Work Program  Rolling Eyes  .
