Does anyone one know how much these 'Temporary Job centres' cost .... Money well spent by the DWP, I'd say....
I'm sure a Freedom of information request will cover that one.
Please do.

When the one in my town was being converted I did look up the company doing the work. They specialised in reimagining workspace or some such corporate speak and it didn't look like their services came cheap. Their other clients included BT & lots of FinTech companies. The work they showcased on their website was as far removed from the usual Jobcentre look as you can get.

Of course its far removed! Its government cronyism.
Ask the question!!! The more people do the better!

Perhaps Blackrock?
What if you could own 2 opposing company's and play them off against each other????
Lets say coca cola and Pepsi cola. That would never happen!!!!! would it?
Are they at the top of the rich list????? Why no mention of their profits?????
Welcome to BlackRock. ( We own your life)
It's fucking shocking!!!!

About the way they use us, every time?"

If they allow this on youtube what are they hiding?

The DWP refused to respond to the journalists FOI request about the cost of these temporary Jobcentres citing commercial sensitivities.

The more people ask the better!
The more we continue to ask them over and over again, every week then we overwhelm them and they have to answer or employ more people to answer the question. They will cave in and answer the question.
This was a journalists FOI request for a news story and not in the interest of the public!
Together we can do this.
Do you not understand that government use (pay) the press to restrict stories or promote them for their own agenda?
What happened to the most powerful man in the world, lets take?
Rupert Murdoch? He knew what was going on and could blackmail anyone and he did.

They already done that game in my home town Ignatius with many Provider training type companies setting up shop.
Its quite funny, all these cat sat on the mat courses and yet, they don't know where all the jobs are. The ''high skilled, high wage jobs.''

I often wonder if these training courses are like 'speak-easys'. Where you need to say the correct password, and you get shown to the training workshop. Otherwise, your just pulling Oakum all day....

I think people would like it more if jobs paid enough to take people out of the benefits system.
Are they insane. Last place on earth anyone currently would want to spend their Saturday is at a joke centre.
If they could get people doing 3 jobs in a day, then no doubt they would. Just need a Ferrari to go between them.

Ultimately, too much Pintel.
Yet another advert to show the tax payer their actually doing something effective. If only.
Maybe good for the very young and those without any work experience ...i suppose:roll: Knowingly they can earn some kind of wage or don't mind working in one of the growth industries warehouse city environment's. Meanwhile, many over 50's can just rot.
If care home, warehouse, box packing, and shelf stacking is all the UK is going to be doing, then DWP etc better get cracking on implementing a UBI environment cos all these go nowhere, low wage, low skilled jobs, will not work and lead to zero growth.
The Labour party need to wake up and accept that too, as their effectively, just banging on the same drum. Far easier to bully people into ANY "job" and no matter how inappropriate that maybe. And no doubt, with these temporary job centres will come temporary providers. All sheep sign posted to site X.

Re: Temporary jobcentres
The reply was that it would take longer than 3 and a half days work to provide me with this information and that it would exceed the £600 amount allowed to provide this data, so no I could not have the information!
How many official complaints can they possibly have?
