New Style Jobseeker’s Allowance
Employment and Support Allowance

Disability Living Allowance
Personal Independence Payment

Interviews and assessments will be done by telephone. You should not go to a Jobcentre Plus unless asked to do so for an exceptional purpose, for example to collect your Payment Exception Service vouchers.

You must still tell us about changes to your circumstances.

#Archangel, do you know the difference between the old JSA & old ESA, and the new style JSA/ESA from your above post? As I thought the Universal Credit was replacing these benefits?

Not absolutely clear but I think New Style ESA and JSA are the new names for contributions-based benefits since UC's replaced income-based ESA and JSA.

What is new style JSA?
If you're unemployed or work less than 16 hours a week you may be able to get New Style Jobseeker's Allowance ( JSA ). New Style JSA is a fortnightly payment that can be claimed on its own or at the same time as Universal Credit. New Style JSA is a contribution based benefit.
