Have you any idea when the full transformation/name change take place on this site?

Also will I need to re-register on this forum, or will that be done automatically from the IT admin? Question

its due to the flux of people visiting the site once it was known it was open so people went to look for answers and got what they needed then it dropped at around restrictions on dwp using certain things

site will flux all over the place but a steady amount of people visiting will always be there looking for answers once they have been advised of the site

marys site suffered from this by overloading there server by the amount of people that visited the website all at once when it went viral

Flux!!!! Gaz

"
Ever notice how people texting at night have that eerie blue glow?

Or wake up ready to write down the Next Great Idea, and get blinded by your computer screen?

During the day, computer screens look good—they're designed to look like the sun. But, at 9PM, 10PM, or 3AM, you probably shouldn't be looking at the sun.

f.lux
f.lux fixes this: it makes the color of your computer's display adapt to the time of day, warm at night and like sunlight during the day.

It's even possible that you're staying up too late because of your computer. You could use f.lux because it makes you sleep better, or you could just use it just because it makes your computer look better.".

Good to see you are keeping me up late with laughter.

Vit D3 and SAD made me laugh but you are much better.

Perhaps? Just because, we can do this! Surprised Shocked Cool

its time to bring this back up to the front again and let the forum decide the outcome

for a site change would be fair as this site was quickly done and i just picked any random name that was chosen at the time

now we are 6 months in and its time for you all to decide the outcome of this

a site name has been chosen it needs to be registered as a domain name this has a cost to it which is every 2 years or one year

the down side to all this name change

the http has to change

http://help.forumotion.com/t110083-how-to-change-forum-name

some might not find us due to the name change id give everyone a months notice

https site verification has the same issues

http://help.forumotion.com/t150481-new-ssl-certificates-are-now-available-for-forumotion-forums-possibility-to-run-forums-in-https

other option create a new site with the new name and we go there this one would become a back up / test site but would remain as long as admin signs in

also other sites has to be informed of the name change

google and other search engines have to be informed once more its the same for reference of https name change

so guys i leave it up to you what you choose

I would be happy to keep it as benefitsadvice.

This is especially true in cases where I have given out the name of the site to people in need (who I may occasionally meet in random places).

They need to be able to find the site when they want to, whenever that is.

You could have a forum-poll of possible name changes, so members could choose?  cyclops . Also I like Caker suggestion of "benefitsadvice" it does what it says on the tin, if people internet search engine for benefit help? scratch

Yes, a poll is a great idea. I second that suggestion.

a poll would mean that you would have to pay for the 3 choices to choose from as they could easily be snapped up and paid for by another user

who thought they like the sound of that name and register it

Yes surely it is the 'Content' of the forum, rather than the "Branding"(Name) that is important?

yes you are right except for one thing without a website name people cant find it

a branding name can cost a fortune if its a popular name
