manifesto promises not likely with tories

The Tories removed it from the Internet just as soon as they could because it was an embarrassment.

Not the least of its embarrassing features was the fact that too many of its promises were uncosted – there was no indication of how they would be funded.

Labour’s manifesto, on the other hand, was fully costed and all funding sources were clearly set out. Some of the party’s spokespeople may have been vague during some “gotcha”-style interviews but the information was available.
