Best way to raise a complaint about... ?
"Please read the decision letter regarding your failure to undertake all reasonable work search.
On this occasion no sanction has been applied.
It is important that you undertake all reasonable work search actions."
The letter (I believe deliberately) doesn't state what the "failure" is, I can show I've been applying daily for jobs. I think this is just their way of exerting pressure and expressing displeasure.
I guess the first step is to demand clarification of this alleged "failure", but after that I want to take them to task for this scare tactic.

They must raise a sanction doubt before you get that letter as there is no way you could have been able to defend it to the Decision maker if you did not get one. Get your work Roach manager involved and get an explanation and make a official complaint. You need notification of any possible sanction decisions made again you.

I think you remember my most (never) overused word in my DWP complaint history!!! The term you're looking for is "malfeasance." which refers to the improper performance of a lawful act, and "nonfeasance," which is the failure to act when there is a duty to do so.

I've just told them to clarify it and stated I'll be raising a complaint for harassment. I would imagine my crotchety old cow of a roach hates it that I live a life of relative ease and she's still working so close to retirement. Fuck her, frankly !!
I'll give her one thing, she certainly plays the "Good cop.." routine pretty well

I've added a note to my journal that this is harassment of a claimant, and that a formal complaint be opened.

Something that happened in connection with action taken by or on behalf of one of the authorities subject to investigation, being action taken in the exercise of administrative functions of that authority which caused injustice to a member of the public.

Despite a quarter-hundred listings of jobs applied for on her screen, she intends to raise a doubt I'm spending 35 hours in jobsearch. Which given the proceedings so far, I regard as a retaliatory continuation of the harassment.

That level of detail sufficed for the first 6 months of my claim.

Raise an official complaint and provide the facts. Contact her boss. She will soon shut up. Request a different Work roach while you are at it.

When I was at my latest UC appointment, I asked if it was okay just to enter a list of jobs that I'd applied for and I was told yes, but they might ask for proof now and again. At which point I showed the advisor the list of emails of my phone and scrolled down about 6 months worth of applications. They seemed fairly satisfied with that.JaybeeInRB wrote:So the latest nonsense is this, I turn up to the appointment after having given her a cross-section of the jobs I applied for, I didn't type out 5 different activities per day, just the jobs applied for.
