ive just put some guide rules up i dont know what tts was but believed they was simple ones even i got some warnings digger could you advise on them as i never seen them over on um.

um was relaxed enough and inviting just really a simple mention of them on a sticky thread

I much prefer 'No rules' Mary_FV.
We leave having to deal with the rules down to you and others and what a great job you all do of it.

Well after 5 years I finally have my first Tribunal date as well! The years of e-mails and letters must finally have cost them too much. They have given in and given me a date at the end of June. They still state that there is an outstanding court case (IDS using the EU courts is the only option left for him (ironically) as he wants out)
Not 100% sure as they always fail to tell me what outstanding court case it is. Now I have a date I can ask them and that will cost them even more time to reply. ( remember the sanction only cost me £14 in the end. ( with hardship payments) but that is not the point)

I even think I might have forgot what I wrote on the original first appeal. so a FOI will have to be requested again .

lol the rules are only as a guide line nothing more

i liked tts way of running to a degree so running roughly the same however i thought some rules are best said than left wide open too interpretation

maybe quiet paul for now as its not on general release, dosnt mean thats its not going to be after its release.

im not going to ban you either, as its been already discussed before this site was even opened up.

Self help forums are more akin to portals/libraries.  However, the people on this site will provide live support if necessary or direct people to other sources of help.

When I was part of a benefit support group with a forum attached to the website the forum was not very busy.  In contrast, the Facebook page was very active indeed.

UM was a political site and attracted people wishing to discuss important issues and ideas.  People like Lazy Cow, Bryan, Brutus, Summerley, TT and Surplus Labour to name but a few are rare characters who brought the site to life and it was filled with very interesting and lively content.

The Lounge/Discussion area on this site is here for chat, thinking out loud etc. if needed.

As g. says no-one can see the site just yet, only those who have been pointed here.    The site is still under development so it may be some time before more people visit or join us.

FV [ Flying Visitor ] has retired was briefly on Benefits advice forum.
Lazy Cow was from central Southern England, a former Solicitor sadly passed away January/February 2016.

The sad thing is, some people on Welfare Central seeking help would benefit from the advice that some of the banned members could give. But they're not made aware of BenefitsAdvice, and those who could direct them here probably won't in fear of being banned if they posted a link....

When everyone is banned there will be no one on that site. A barman would not ban all his customers
