Work and Health Programme Given P45

The WHP will end in the Autumn. Is this good news or not?

Will the money saved be used to push more people onto Restart, or will another pointless programme be created? Providers won't be happy at losing a cash cow. Presumably if you can avoid a WHP referral before Autumn, you will be spared having to ever do it.

No doubt we will all be sent to Rishi's "specialist work and health professionals", who in reality couldn't tell the difference between day and night.

I honestly think the government see Restart as failing, so are trying to make it work by referring more and more people to it. Well if they're going to send even more people who have health problems that prevent them from working, they can expect the success rate to drop even further.

I think the Retread scheme was extended to june 2026... But as you say, it will just be replaced by another similar scheme. The only part that will change is the name...

I would like to see the results/statistics of how the WH program did. Money well spent????
