UK jobs market is cooling, more like in a bloody deep freeze. Unemployment rises with 'real wages' keep falling.

Funny them saying wages are behind compared to inflation cos notwithstanding inflation, millions of peoples wages have been lagging for years. At best at a total stand still. Its the moderately well paid £28-40k outside London and for some, still inside London who didn't give a stuff about that happening, will feel some pain now.

When .gov tell us, economic situation IS going to be bad for the next 2 years can be sure to double that figure + . No doubt tax cuts 2024 just time for the election:roll: .

You have to wonder how the DWP are going to 'massage' these figures for the next few years.... No doubt more 'Cat sat on the mat'  courses . Maybe they could create some 'temporary' training camps, in the light of the success of the temporary-JCP's...  You know just throw money at a scheme/program, and hope it creates opportunities..... 

I think for once, they all looked ahead with all this Pintel hence the relentless and enthusiastic support from .gov to chuck hundreds of millions at provider companies.

The mentality being, get sheep into any job, no matter what its doing as long as the sheep are paying a few p in tax. Hows that worked out for them then. 100s of companies giving unspecific training for millions to do; low paid, unskilled work and pay very little in Tax or Ni.

Today I came across this so we can all see where the mentality is at...or not.

Have you got the hyperlink to the article #Jobber? As I'd like to see if the give a breakdown of what the long term illnesses?. To understand if they are from poor working practices, or running worker's into the ground. Especially with all the H+S in the workplace?   So much for employment being good for you .

I just remember reading an article about Concrete and how damaging it was to people's joints, so standing up all day was not good for persons.

Yes, I know a few people, men and women who spent year's working on concrete floor's and now have joint problems. Their now in their 50s but hey ho, rejoice, as we can all work until we drop. Remember, work is good for you. Strange the morons proposing all that have no conception of the world of work.Some madness behind the method. Or is it the other way around
