KB v Secretary of State for Work and Pensions[2019] UKUT 408 (AAC)CUC/2274/20181IN THE UPPER TRIBUNALCase No.CUC/2274/2018ADMINISTRATIVE APPEALS CHAMBER
Read the full decision in CUC/2274/2018.
Judicial Summary
Claimant’s view that it would be pointless to apply for a vacancy does not amount to a good reason for failing to apply for a vacancy as directed by the Secretary of State.

It would have been better if she had applied. She would, no doubt, have been rejected at the interview stage if they were looking for someone with an outgoing personality type she would have shown herself to not be that type.
