DWP Using Research Company Data To Snoop on Claimants
The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is using data collected by a not-for-profit social research organisation to compare to its own records so as to snoop on benefit claimants. Claimants have raised fears that they will be targeted for giving poor responses to the survey. The DWP themselves refused to answer any questions about its partnership with the company.

Re: DWP Using Research Company Data To Snoop on Claimants
Hi Effjay,
I wonder if this will have a knock-on effect with work programme provider companies sharing and accessing peoples data with DWP.Don't like the sound of it at all. I have nothing to hide but feel their just being bloody nosey? If they are looking for shady characters, let them do some work and proper risk assessment rather than tar us all.
