Throughout the ages privilege has always tried to justify itself.
In the past it may have been the Will of this or that God, the imagined superiority of a biological lineage, the destiny gifted prowess of a bloodthirsty warrior, today unsurprisingly is the Trump consciousness of been a " very stable genius" because how can anyone be rich and powerful without some superior attribute distinguishing it from the commoner?
Poor are poor because of their inability to be rich. Therefore no policy in the world can save them. The only possible thing one can do for them is to force them into doing the right things.
The condition of the disabled and unemployment become a mostly self-inflicted bane and their existence underpin the dangerous fantasy that if you are not, it is because you're better than them. And so on.
