Universal Jobmatch do not tick
Can anyone remember where on Universal Jobmatch the other tick box is to disable email/tracking/consent, Apart from the obvious two (do not tick)boxes on the first Page?
I do remember that there is another hidden box somewhere.
Before anyone askes. I am not losing my marbles (again) or caving into the jobcentre desires. It's for a friend who has a claimant commitment meeting today.
Many thanks.
Oneman.
PS. I still have not signed my CC from when they asked me back in 2014! How does that work if you must have a signed CC to get JSA.

A JSACC is a Jobseeker's Agreement, so your JSAg entitles you to claim JSA

Thanks helping_hand.
I presume nothing has changed and you still need to have a account with a cv uploaded and shown to be public, even if it can all be changed/deleted and never used again after.
Has there been any new updates on this?

1) Do not tick the boxes
2) How to stop all DWP Jobmatch emails
Visit your ‘Profile‘ page and ensure the “I would like to receive DWP email messages” is unticked* and then go to ‘Home page‘ > ‘Saved searches’ > ‘Edit’ and select “None“.

Yes but all that is required from a claimant is that they have a CV available not that it is on UJ under the "public" setting. There are 2 settings on UJ for a CV - public and private. Mine is set to private. WC's have tried to make out that they can get me to set it to public, but I know better and they've never issued a JSD about it. They know full well that it's a private account that I allow them to access. I have a CV that I can submit when a genuine job is advertised and that's the end of it lol

Re: Universal Jobmatch do not tick
Most Universal Credit claimants require the creation of an on-line profile:
Work search requirement
17.—(1) In this Part a “work search requirement” is a requirement that a claimant
take–
(a) all reasonable action, and
(b) any particular action specified by the Secretary of State,
for the purpose of obtaining paid work (or more paid work or better-paid work).
(2) The Secretary of State may under subsection (1)(b) specify the time to be devoted
to any particular action.
(3) Action which may be specified under subsection (1)(b) includes in particular–
(a) carrying out work searches;
(b) making applications;
(c) creating and maintaining an online profile;
(d) registering with an employment agency;
(e) seeking references;
(f) any action prescribed for the purpose in subsection (1).
JSA and UC regulations require that claimants take the best steps taking into account individual circumstances to secure employment.
Reference:
A recent Upper Tribunal Case I was involved with: It was determined that the claimant did not have to search UJ to meet the ASE requirement.
Several MR's & a recent FtT case verify it is not an essential requirement to seek work via UJ at this time
Caveat: DWP has made several security updates to UJ recently.
