Dwp letter Empty Dwp letter

Post by The Catwoman Mon May 02, 2022 2:16 pm

I have not received any dwp letter regarding the increase to JSA, I usually get one before April. I don't think it got lost in the post because I have a very good postman,.

Have they forgot to send it?

I received mine ages ago. I've just had a look at it & it's dated 11 January 2023.

I receive my 'benefits increase' letter 📬
, Last month, even thou it won't increase until April 2023?🤨.
It wouldn't be the first letter the DWP🚽 have lost #Catwoman...

I've never understand why they don't issue these letters in person when you sign on. I also think they should have made sour faced WCs who begrudge claimants everything personally hand over the Cost of Living payments.

We didn't get one last March either. We only need the letter to prove we are on benefits. The changes in amount of benefit doesn't usually make any difference to say, the dentist or the council.

The Catwoman. I haven't received a benefits increase letter either and as it's now the 24th then I don't think I ever will.

You have a Dentist Absolut! Mine decided that he was reducing his numbers and only taking on a certain amount of HNS clients. I was not chosen but my partner was. How does that work?Mad

I think their not sending it deliberately for jsa as when I told the WC last year, she couldn't care less and played dumb.

Next time you sign on ask where is your letter informing you of your much deserved 10.something% or whatever it is pay rise. I'm sure your WC will not be bitter about their own below inflation pay award.

I think the JCP can print you off a letter confirming receipt of benefits if you ever need proof of being in receipt of benefits.

It might depend on the Roach'clown, I asked mine for a 'receipt of benefits' letter 📬. And was told I needed to contact the DWP 🚽 0845 number 🙄. So something that would take 5x minutes to complete by them, I had to waste an hour of my time on-hold, plus another 20x minutes after the security checks etc. And wait a week for it to arrive 🙃.

Welcome to the efficient JCP of the 2023.... Not sure if UC claimant's can order one via the journal? That might be too logical for the JCP 🚽...

Sounds like your WC needs to do a customer service course, Pintel.

Haha, nope, neither Mr Absolut or I have a dentist. We used to, but he left the practice we are registered with in September 2020. It took years for us to get an NHS dentist to begin with only to find ourselves without one again and back on a waiting list. We can book appointments, but if it's not an emergency the waiting time is about 4 months.

Snap Absolut. I can have an emergency appointment but it's full price if I go.

I got a very posh letter back from my MP patting himself on the back for the speedy resolution of my last sanction. I'm not even sure if he had any intervention as the MR was overturned so quickly that he never had time to reply to my request for his help in the first place. He says I'm to contact him at any time if he is ever needed. I will take him up on that. Laughing

I got a letter from DWP (this is not the norm). Saying they will not be issuing another sanction for failing to attend my last appointment early last week as I had good reason not to attend! Dwp letter 2936143587 I think things might have finally sunk in with them but I doubt it will be the last as a different work roach will be along soon with the same old Ideas.
