What is the significance of £542 per month earnings.
Hi all
Had to make a new UC claim as work finished.
One of the questions was: 'In any of the 12 months before your job ended were your earnings lower than £542 per month?'.
I answered yes to that one because there was one month when I earned less than that, but then after that I earned more. Having answered that question, the next page included a statement that I 'earned less than £542'. I agreed to the statement even though the question (on the previous page) had been about any month and not every month.
Are they trying to catch people out?
