From wayback to wayforward
Remember Wayback machine? They have a new website to provide their vision of what the internet could be like in the future. It should be noted that this is their speculation and the future internet may be nothing like they predict.

The future depends on us.
Access to good information is not a given. If you value it, you have to protect it.

I suspect with growing control from Big Business, And more and more government censorship, The golden days of the Internet are over: Now you need a VPN before you even think about logging on.
I sort of wonder just how much longer private forums such as this one will be allowed to carry on.

I was wondering if there's much you can, do not being a 'tech' person, to keep "under the radar" as much as possible. I thought some search engine provider's such as https://duckduckgo.com/

Ive been using "Duckduckgo" for a number of years and find it very good & secure,
Its also Highley advisable to run a VPN at all times for full peace of mind, I use "Windscribe (paid version)" with no problems.

VPN is the way to go if you want to remain private.
Protects your online activities by an encrypted tunnel; this goes between your traffic and anyone who tries to spy on you .

Thanks Jobberpw .
Do you find you need to switch off the VPN mode on some website? Just ive had some issues on certain website, it wouldn't let me access the site, yet when I tried it without the VPN i was allowed access ...
Now it could be me🦕 or the device️. Any advice welcomed.
