Coronavirus hits ill and disabled people hardest, so why is society writing us off?
Instead of overlooking us, the government has a duty to put disabled and chronically ill people at the heart of its thinking on coronavirus. Public health crises are not equal-opportunity events: the poorest, most marginalised and disabled are generally worst affected, while the wealthy, connected and healthy are able to cushion themselves.

You might think @Effjay that the powers that be might give these disabled/ill people a payment like the 'cold weather payment' to help them through this hard time. Or is it just that they aren't a Bank that they will get not extra help!

I am surprised with all rebranding that goes on these days that the Coronavirus (COVID-19) hasn’t been given a name make over by the media?
“Paupers-plague” (as will affect the poorest in society), or ‘The Black Triangle Death’ (after the badge in the camps, and the Black-death plague). Still on the plus side they can’t blame Mr Jeremy Corbyn for this one, otherwise is might be the “Corbyn-Virus” in the news…
