Anyone else noticed an increase in the use of the following words in job ads?
This morning's search includes requirements for the applicant to be:
These are of course all for min.wage, part time or temp jobs.

- proactive and charismatic
- have energy and passion
- dynamic
- proactively smiling (!)

Maybe we need a dictionary of all these wording of job adverts and what they actually mean?
For me I always find the “Can do attitude” a strange one. As I was told by one employer I needed to ‘change my attitude’ once at work….

Another bugbear:-
* "What is unique about you?" (either an interview question or a space on the form for it).
This one is often found in connection with jobs requiring 'conformity' and 'protocol following', rather than 'uniqueness'
