A new study from the Trade Union Congress (TUC) reveals that the UK has seen significant growth in insecure forms of employment compared to other EU countries, including bogus self-employment and zero-hours jobs.
The report, International Trends in Insecure Work, shows the UK had the largest increase in the number of self-employed workers among EU countries from 2008 to 2015, and the third largest increase in temporary workers.

Inevitable part of "rentier economy". When the main economic resource is derived from ownership rights on something that create wealth around the world and then filtered through the funnel of a small elite, that can enforce these rights...well, what is left is masters and their servants.
Perhaps we are not there yet but we are going that way.
A service economy for the rich, one where the smaller the crambles the more the people fighting for them.
