One mother’s testimony poignantly sums up the impact of the policy; she told us that every day she thinks about the prospect of losing everything and being forced out of her family’s home. A single mother, she had given up work to look after her young baby and the cap slashed her housing benefit to just 50p a week.

its reading like if you give up work to lok after your child your sanctioned so hard just to bring your own child up in the world instead of actually putting the child into a nursery system

something i wouldnt do myself as i rather wanted to care for the childs up bringing early on before they went to there nursery placement at 4 1/2 years old

i wouldnt change that for the world
