121.  Where the claimant imposes acceptable restrictions because of their physical or mental condition they do not have to show they have reasonable prospects of getting a job. However, they must show all the restrictions are reasonable and are connected with their health.

If the claimant has a physical or mental disablement they may place any restriction on their availability (even if it results in them not having a ‘reasonable’ prospect of obtaining employment) providing the restriction is ‘reasonable’ in light of their disablement.

Can someone please clarify what the above means in relation to discussing job search activity with a work coach every fortnight? What does "not have reasonable prospects" actually mean?

It is this word 'reasonable' which keeps cropping up in the reg's whenever vagueness is expedient Suspect . Sorry A, that does not answer your question whatsoever. confused

I was wondering, does it mean that if I have been unable to find any jobs to apply for within the parameters of my CC that it can't be criticised?

Yes, that is right A.

In some instances there may never be any jobs that you can apply for due to the restrictions agreed in your JSAg/CC. A person with a health condition/disability does not have to prove they have a good prospect of finding work if the restrictions are reasonable and health related.
