Collaboration with other benefit help forums

Post by helping_hand on Mon Sep 18, 2017 11:28 am

In the interests of assisting people who need help in difficult times, it seems sensible to aid one another.

Acrimony is not in the best interests of people who are suffering and who need to seek help beyond the established sources.

Someone said to me recently,..

...

lol!

Does anyone think it might be a good idea to approach some other forums with a view to cross pollinating? Just an idea sunny

I think that the best course of action should be to continue to keep this Forum alive.
While I am guilty of not doing enough (I have tons of articles etc, that I have not posted yet...due to lack of energy Crying or Very sad ), I am more than inspired to see there is someone with more perseverance and commitment.
I do not think that anyone here has problems with us posting on other Forums, I do occasionally, however BenefitAdvice is run with integrity and honesty and these are qualities that will eventually turn out to be the most valuable.

As a suggestion, mostly because I understand how time consuming and fatiguing is to run a Forum, it could be useful to open a page on some third party social media application , like FB, that would make it easier to post references and "cross-pollinate" with a wider audience, while reserving the Forum for more in depths discussion with people we have have come to know and trust.

we police ourselves if some people do get out of line including me id expect someone to say something

im spreading the word more and more

ive already passed this site to some cab advisers that ive spoken too via there clients that im helping out from time to time

however some sites dont like being spammed by another forum or directed to other forums these can also be said about some word press sites out there

all i can do is ask them if they would consider putting up a link on there site to this site

ive also noted that there there is other links out there with a pointer to our site

as much as im hoping that members here are also passing there advice about this site been here

Just an idea Admin, could you create a  locked page/thread with "Useful Link's" to similar sites, sign posting if you will. As it can be hit and miss to finding helpful sites out there on the web cyclops.

always best to say if we need it or not but the person who requested it will be brought into the convo if its actually needed or not on the site I maybe admin but its still a discussion on whats best or whats needed to be added on the forums

i think we are near the main points for everyone to use and also easy to adjust around
