general guide rules

Post by Admin on Thu Apr 20, 2017 8:59 pm

Weve all been on um for a long time before its closure ( gadily is admin here and some ex members are also mods ) I have a relaxed approach to things:

members should consider some things when replying to posters.

•  Members on here try to provide you with the best information possible, by use of foi requests or other info provided to you.

•  we expect some profanities and lost tempers due to your situation that your in, please remember we provide our time and advice freely.

•  CAVEAT: Information and advice posted on this forum is not qualified.
this is a combined forum of foi requests and information provided by its users from the freedom of information website, also long discussions upon its previous forum

Please seek independent advice regarding any information provided on this site.

Please note this information provided are under disclaimers, therefore the poster or the site listing the correct info cannot be held responsible if a claimant uses them for their own individual cases; every case is subject to a difference.

We wish you good luck with using this good information that is provided freely by the old forum members of um and have spent their time researching these details and providing their time to assist others in need.

• Be respectful and considerate.  Please be polite and courteous when responding to your fellow members (even if they annoy you with their opinion) and respect their viewpoint even if it isn't the same as yours.  Every member here is a part of our forum's family and has an equal voice - let's treat each other as friends with respect.

• By all means, revisit old threads and add to them. Doing so keeps our topics active and interesting.  Before you start a new thread, please check all the sub-forums to see if a thread already exists that covers this topic.  If so, please feel free to add to it!  Adding to an existing thread is preferable to having a lot of repetitious threads.

•  enjoyable and shared on a fun, safe forum should be a positive experience that we all enjoy.  After all, we are casual and independent people that run this forum.

•  HARASSMENT of members providing info to you is a NO NO. Please respect their wishes. We are trying to aid everyone out there the best way we can

if it comes to it you will be banned

BANNING members is a last resort of which we dont want to do, but warnings maybe issued to members over stepping
