She rejected the opportunity to support McDonald’s workers, saying that it “is a matter for McDonald’s to deal with”. Is May admitting that the State can't interfere in contracts of employment? If so, then she ought to inform the DWP of that Wink

If any of those staff members claim UC while working a zero hours contract then the State has definitely stepped in between the employer and the employee by hounding them into asking for better hours, more pay etc.
