I suspect this is indicative of the reasons that the British psychological establishment rejected involvement with delivering intervention within the job centre setting.

The inculcation, which JC workers are expected to deliver, is more similar to brainwashing than it is the delivery of any credible psychological intervention.

The "growth mindset" label is simply blame shifting onto the victims of a State that chooses to keep a certain level of its population unemployed in order to serve Capitalism.
