DWP jargon

I was wondering if the DWP has its own jargon to be aware of when I am on the 'casting couch' in there open plan offices . I gather ‘off-stream’ refers to people in employment or off the figures such as on the Work Program. So are there any other terms I should be aware of? Could be nice to have a dwp-dictionary, of all the acronyms. Such as ASE- actively seeking employment, UCB- unacceptable   claimant behaviour.

If you have ever submitted a subject access request, they are very often sent to you with a document of all the DWP abbreviations, presumably to help you interpret the computerised records (if these were part of your request).

It could be worth submitting a SAR just to get the list of abbreviations sent to you

With regard to office slang, my pet hates are 'buzzword' and the phrases 'blue sky thinking' and 'thinking outside the box'. It is not that I lack creativity / imagination or the capacity to visualise the abstract; I just dislike corporate clichés because I am not corporate minded (sheeple)
