The Treasury minister David Gauke has been reported to HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) after advertising an unpaid six-month "training post" at his constituency office.

His voting records speaks volumes about him:

https://www.theyworkforyou.com/mp/11633/david_gauke/south_west_hertfordshire

Almost always voted for a reduction in spending on welfare benefits

Generally voted for reducing housing benefit for social tenants deemed to have excess bedrooms (which Labour describe as the "bedroom tax")

Here's what he likes:

restrict housing benefit for those in social housing deemed to have excess bedrooms.

reduce the amounts people are paid in tax credits.

cut universal credit benefits for many people in paid work

against impact assessments

in favour of repealing the Human Rights Act 1998

voted for cuts in housing benefit for recipients in supported housing

absent for a vote on Universal Credit and Employment and Support Allowance — Analysis of Impact of Changes on Those with Different Incomes

Let's all welcome our new DWP Overlord Mr Gauke pig

Reports the EADT,

"David Gauke, who was chief secretary to the treasury, has been appointed the new work and pensions secretary by Theresa May this afternoon.
Mr Gauke, who is widely regarded as one of the Government’s most effective performers, was called in to 10 Downing Street along with many other Tory MPs."

“Mr Gauke, a solicitor regarded as a quietly effective performer, has been given the high-profile role at the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)”

“So, far from being “relatively unknown”, Mr Gauke is a well-documented supporter of corrupt business practices, a liar, a hypocrite, an exploiter of the poor, and a man who will use his position to sell confidential information to businesses.”

But did we expect anything else from this Tory government of austerity No  Evil or Very Mad ?
