And replace "punitive sanctions" with....?
Labour will do away with the Work Capability and Personal Independence Payment assessments and replace them with a personalised, holistic process which provides each individual with a tailored plan, building on their strengths and addressing barriers, whether finance, skills, health, care, transport, or housing related.
We want to stop the profiteering from these assessments, so we will use public or voluntary sector organisations which are local and accessible to claimants, not those private companies that have manipulated the system for maximum profits.
We will repeal cuts in social security support to disabled people through a new Social Security Bill published in our first year of office.
we will scrap the Conservatives’ punitive sanctions regime and change how Job Centre Plus staff are performance managed.
And replace "punitive sanctions" with....?

Re: Labour Manifesto for Disabled People
When I asked my far left, Labour MP about sanctions he said they would be used as a last resort!
There is no mention of repealing the relevant legislation in the Manifesto.

Re: Labour Manifesto for Disabled People
And bearing in mind that the manifesto is about disabled people under what circumstances would a sanction be used as a "last resort" against a disabled person? Bet they fail to ever answer that question.
