I think you press the + function (RHC of the message) if you like the content of the post.

Sort  of like the "Thank You " on some other forums?

we cannot see it as its hidden wrote so guests cant see it

as goes for reputation look under your signature pic you have 1 reputation already whilst mary has 4

a thankyou is the + and minus at side of signature

since then ive decided to make things easier

you will see a green thumbs up icon now instead of a + and minus

this is to replace the like button and gives the user a reputation number

i like this new one better than the other one
