The impersonal language of DWP letters is so austere and officious to the extent that it appears calculated to cause alarm more so than actually communicate facts to recipients. This is bad enough for someone without psychological issues and potentially devastating to an emotionally fragile individual.
It is about time that DWP templates were revised with language that is less intimidating / alarming and actually more helpful to those receiving these dreadful letters. The current language is totally lacking in emotional intelligence.
