UM actually did not close for lack of interest.
If anything the site was doing all right, as this type of forums perform.

Simply, I understand, the running of the site had taken TT's life over and wanted to do something else.
In part because he did not want (there are pro and con about this) to share some of the organisational burden and partly because he hoped to transform the UM in an actual movement.
I think the latter failure (although at one point it went close) made him think it was wasting his time.

I much prefer a lighter approach, do something good, live doors open and go for the long haul.

memebers come and go they always do even the onces that post loads on forums including myself

information is hard to find when your desperate weve all been here looking for some sort of aid in our situation

ive taken the light approach in creating this site, at least anything the info is here for everyone not a select group of people

im also greatful of its members keeping the site running whilst ive got my hands full again

I have been re-directed from ONE TO ONE appointment sessions with my usual work roach, to
THE HUB! A group seasion with 8-10 or more other people that is voluntary!!!!

Remember that!!!!! voluntary as they will not tell you unless you ask.

I do take the odd seasion every 8-12 weeks ( when I like) just to see what is going on. It never changes.
This is the perfect time to give out the flyers with the law to prove that this is all shit. My next appointment card reads (DATE/TIME) HUB!!!! AGAIN even though it is writen on the LMS not to give hub appointments or electronic signing! It was crossed out with "just come in and sign wit group seasion."
THAT IS FINE BY ME.

The seriously / worst bit is that the security guards think they are IT. They think they are in charge, this needs to be changed and soon as they are not, IT!!!
Ask them about their boss and the security recordings within the building ask about voice recording ask abou JSA regulations and the manager and they go to shit!

This is the pamphlet. print  it off and spread it about in DWP offices.
We are better than them. Remember! You are with use. On here.
I would now, after some some time on this site get them sacked as I KNOW MORE THAN THEM, THROUGH THIS SITE!
If I continually prove that Job Center staff are crap and do not know the law, Then I can Justify a job in the job center. (yes???)  They get paid shit but its just around the corner.
Just think? What it would be like to have a propper nasty cu*t on the inside on the right side and not worry about the no job prospects?
